therapy intensives
Therapy Intensives are a powerful, accelerated form of therapy.
Intensives are offered in 3 hour blocks (don’t worry, we take breaks!). Some clients prefer coming in once a month for a block instead of coming in once a week. It’s convenient, effective and powerful.

Intensives may include EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, coaching, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness/meditation practice, and experiential components.
Some clients do regular weekly sessions during the school year and choose Intensives during the summer months to allow for more schedule flexibility. Some clients choose Intensives ahead of the holidays to give themselves ample time to prepare for difficult family situations or big changes in work/family rhythm. Some clients choose Intensives ahead of big life events: weddings, funerals, moves, empty-nesting, etc.
Intensives are a bigger financial investment up front but you get much more value in a shorter period of time. It’s cost-effective compared to going to weekly therapy for months or years and you don’t have to wait to see results. It’s perfect for people who are ready for change now.
All clients must participate in an initial 90 minute intake session before we begin Intensives. This is to ensure that we are a good fit and that your goals are suited to the Intensive format.
