groups

Groups provide social support, they improve social networks and they can reduce stigma, isolation and feelings of alienation and loneliness among participants. Groups also offer an affordable option for folks who want support and learn new skills but cannot or do not want to engage in individual work.

female partners of people who struggle with alcohol use

Come together, get to know each other, support one another, and join in meaningful, supportive conversation about what it’s like to love a person who struggles with alcohol use and what to do about it.

Together we will work through the Beyond Addiction workbook so you can learn new tools, discover better coping skills, explore new ways to be supportive and invite your loved one to change their habits with kindness and compassion.

The workbook gives our work gentle structure (so you feel like you’re getting somewhere) but you can expect our meetings to provide a relaxed, friendly, inclusive environment and a safe space to unload your burdens, learn something, and get the support you need.

When: Thursdays, 12pm-1pm (EST), October 17, 2024 to January 16th, 2025 (10 sessions with breaks)

Where: HIPAA compliant online platform
Cost: $35/session (workbook not included)

Who should attend?
Female-identifying adults 30 years and older, from all backgrounds and identities are welcome. This is a group specifically for people who identify as being the partner of a person who struggles with alcohol use.
